"Wherever the art of Medicine is loved, there is also a love of Humanity."
— Hippocrates

This study of 4341 adults with diabetes found suboptimal cardiovascular risk management. The results indicated that 25.9% met HbA1c targets, 45.5% met cholesterol targets, 43.4% met blood pressure targets, 19.8% met BMI targets, and 30.2% met physical activity targets. Patients with type 2 diabetes and those with existing CVDs were less likely to meet targets. This suboptimal management increases the risk of adverse health outcomes.
