"Wherever the art of Medicine is loved, there is also a love of Humanity."
— Hippocrates

This study evaluated voriconazole's effectiveness in treating invasive pulmonary aspergillosis (IPA) in 142 patients with severe liver disease (SLD). Voriconazole monotherapy showed lower mortality and did not exacerbate liver function compared to echinocandins. A no-loading dose regimen of voriconazole was more effective in treating IPA than the standard regimen. Voriconazole monotherapy may be a promising treatment for IPA in SLD patients.
